The starter relay for the Mazda Drifter 2.5 diesel 2002 is located in the engine bay, near the battery on the passenger side. The starter relay is a black plastic box with two wires connected to it. The wires are a heavy-gauge positive wire and a thinner ground wire. To remove the starter relay, simply disconnect the two wires and pull the relay out of its socket.
