2. Pull the emergency hood release lever. This will release the hood latch and allow you to open the hood.
3. Locate the hood latch mechanism. It is located on the front of the vehicle, between the headlights.
4. Use a screwdriver or other pry bar to pry the hood latch mechanism open. This will allow you to fully open the hood.
5. Once the hood is open, you can repair or replace the broken hood latch.
