How do you turn off running lights on 2000 Toyota 4runner?

1. Make sure the 4runner is in the PARK position.

2. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes.

3. Set parking/emergency brake.

4. Turn the headlight knob to the "OFF" position.

5. Turn off the ignition.

6. Pull the key out of the ignition.

7. Check that all lights have turned off.
