1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the battery. It is usually located in the engine bay on the passenger side of the car.
4. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This is the black terminal.
5. Disconnect the positive battery terminal. This is the red terminal.
6. Remove the old battery from the car.
7. Place the new battery in the car.
8. Connect the positive battery terminal.
9. Connect the negative battery terminal.
10. Close the hood of your car.
11. Start your car.
