How do you change blower motor resistor on 2004 Honda Odyssey?

Tools Needed:

* Phillips head screwdriver

* Flat head screwdriver

* 10mm socket wrench

* Ratchet extension

Instructions:

1. Make sure the vehicle is turned off and the engine is cool.

2. Locate the blower motor resistor. On the 2004 Honda Odyssey, it is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, behind the glove box.

3. Remove the glove box. To do this, open the glove box and remove the two screws that hold it in place. Then, pull the glove box out.

4. Locate the blower motor resistor. It is a small, black box with a few wires connected to it.

5. Disconnect the wires from the blower motor resistor. To do this, use the flat head screwdriver to pry up the tabs on the wire connectors.

6. Remove the blower motor resistor. To do this, use the 10mm socket wrench to remove the two screws that hold it in place.

7. Install the new blower motor resistor. Insert the new resistor into place and secure it with the two screws.

8. Reconnect the wires to the blower motor resistor. To do this, push the wire connectors back into place until they snap.

9. Test the blower motor. To do this, turn the ignition on and turn the blower motor on. The blower motor should now work properly.

10. Reinstall the glove box. To do this, slide the glove box back into place and secure it with the two screws.
