To change the clutch on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, follow these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the air intake tube.

4. Raise the vehicle and support it on jack stands.

5. Remove the front wheels.

6. Remove the brake calipers and rotors.

7. Remove the transmission mount.

8. Remove the driveshaft.

9. Remove the exhaust system.

10. Remove the starter motor.

11. Remove the flywheel cover.

12. Remove the pressure plate bolts and remove the pressure plate.

13. Remove the clutch disc.

14. Inspect the flywheel and resurface it if necessary.

15. Install the new clutch disc.

16. Install the pressure plate and tighten the bolts.

17. Install the flywheel cover.

18. Install the starter motor.

22. Install the brake rotors and calipers.

23. Install the front wheels.

24. Lower the vehicle.

25. Reconnect the battery cable.
