2. Open the hood of the van.
3. Locate the air filter housing. On the 1994 Dodge Ram Van B250, it is usually a black plastic box located near the front of the engine compartment, on the driver's side.
4. Unlatch the air filter housing cover and remove it.
5. Take out the old air filter. It is a rectangular-shaped piece of foam or paper.
6. Inspect the old air filter for dirt and damage. If it is dirty or damaged, replace it with a new one.
7. Place the new air filter in the housing. Make sure that it is seated properly.
8. Replace the air filter housing cover and latch it closed.
9. Close the hood of the van.
