1. Locate the mechanical key slot within the driver’s side door handle trim.
2. Carefully remove the trim covering the mechanical key slot. Use the key fob like a lever to pry open the cover. It should come off quite easily.
3. Insert the mechanical key into the mechanical key slot.
4. Turn the key clockwise until you hear the door unlock.
Once the door is unlocked, you can open it and access the vehicle. Keep in mind that you will need to jump-start the car in order to start the engine.
