1. Open the trunk.
2. Remove the carpeting from the trunk floor.
3. Locate the access panel to the fuel tank. It is usually a circular metal cover with four bolts.
4. Remove the bolts and lift off the access panel.
5. You will see the fuel pump assembly. It is a cylindrical metal object with two fuel lines connected to it.
6. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump.
7. Remove the bolts that hold the fuel pump in place and lift it out of the tank.
