* A Phillips-head screwdriver
* A flat-head screwdriver
* A 7/32-inch socket and ratchet
* A new ignition switch
Here are the steps on how to change the ignition switch:
1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical shocks.
2. Remove the steering wheel cover. There are two screws that hold the cover in place.
3. Remove the turn signal lever. There is a small screw that holds the lever in place.
4. Remove the ignition switch bezel. There are two screws that hold the bezel in place.
5. Remove the ignition switch. There are four screws that hold the switch in place.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition switch.
7. Install the new ignition switch.
8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the ignition switch.
9. Install the ignition switch bezel.
10. Install the turn signal lever.
11. Install the steering wheel cover.
12. Reconnect the battery.
Now the ignition switch is changed and you can test the new switch to ensure it works.
