Step 2: Remove the plastic cover in the driver's side door handle. (There is a small slot along the bottom edge of the cover - insert a small flat-head screwdriver and pry the cover off.)
Step 3: Locate the emergency release cord and pull on it slightly to open the trunk.
Step 4: In the trunk, on the driver's side behind a plastic cover, is the battery.
Step 5: Attach a charged battery charger or battery booster pack to the battery terminals. (A small black cover lifts up to expose the positive and negative terminals).
Step 6: Wait 15 minutes for the battery charger or battery booster pack to supply enough power to open the doors.
Step 7: Press the "Unlock" button on your key fob or use your key to unlock the doors.
Step 8: Start your vehicle and let it run for at least 30 minutes to fully recharge the battery.
