Where is the horn unit on a Nissan note?

Steps:

1. Open your Nissan’s hood. It’s on the front of your car, and there’s a lever to pop it open on the driver’s side footwell.

2. Locate the car horn. Your horn is usually located on the front passenger’s side of the engine bay, near the front of the car.

3. Remove the horn cover (if necessary). Depending on your Nissan, the horn may have a plastic casing cover to protect it from the weather. Pry off this cover if it’s present.

4. Disconnect the wiring. Your horn will have 2 wires running to it—a positive wire and a negative wire. Each of these will have a cap you can pop off. Use either a flathead screwdriver or pliers to pop off the caps, then pull the connectors off the terminals. You can also use pliers or a wrench to loosen the nuts holding the wires to the horn.

5. Loosen the horn mounting screws. There are usually 2 screws holding the horn in place. Use the appropriate wrench for your type of screws to fully remove them.

6. Pull the horn out of its assembly. Once the mounting screws are removed, you should be able to lift the horn out of the car completely.

7. Replace the bad horn (or wires) and reassemble. Connect the wires back to the horn, then set it back into its housing. Replace the mounting screws and replace the horn cover if there is one.
