How do you get to the battery on a Mercedes Benz c 300 class 2008?

To access the battery on a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300:

1. Open the hood.

2. Remove the plastic cover on the battery.

3. Disconnect the negative terminal (black cable) from the battery by turning the nut counterclockwise.

4. Disconnect the positive terminal (red cable) from the battery by turning the nut counterclockwise.

5. Remove the battery hold-down brackets.

6. Lift the battery out of the compartment.
