Step 1: Remove the old belt.
- Loosen the tensioner pulley bolt.
- Remove the old belt from the pulleys.
Step 2: Install the new belt.
- Place the new belt around the pulleys, starting with the crankshaft pulley.
- Tighten the tensioner pulley bolt until the belt is snug.
- Check all of the bolts to make sure the belt properly seated.
Step 3: Start the engine and check the belt.
- Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
- Check the belt to make sure it is tracking properly and is not making any noise.
- If the belt is not tracking properly, adjust the tensioner pulley bolt.
- If the belt is making noise, it may be too tight or too loose. Adjust the tensioner pulley bolt until the noise stops.
