Where do you fill the transmission fluid on a 1999 Honda Passport?
The transmission dipstick on a 1999 Honda Passport is located on the driver’s side of the engine bay. To fill the transmission fluid, you will need a funnel and the recommended transmission fluid. First, locate the transmission dipstick. It is a long, thin metal rod with a yellow handle. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean. Reinsert the dipstick into the transmission until it is fully seated. Pull the dipstick out again and check the fluid level. The fluid should be between the “Full” and “Add” marks on the dipstick. If the fluid is low, add enough fluid to bring it up to the “Full” mark. Be careful not to overfill the transmission.
