1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car and locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is usually a clear plastic container with a black cap.
3. Check the fluid level in the reservoir. The fluid level should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the side of the reservoir.
4. If the fluid level is low, add brake fluid to the reservoir. Use only DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid.
5. Replace the cap on the brake fluid reservoir.
