>No person shall place, maintain or display upon any vehicle any lighting device or reflector visible from directly in front of the vehicle other than those required or permitted in this chapter.
This law generally prohibits the use of neon lights on the front of a vehicle. However, there are some exceptions to this rule, such as for certain types of emergency vehicles.
>It shall be unlawful to operate any motor vehicle, motorcycle or motor-driven cycle when any of the required lamps or reflective devices are obscured by snow or ice or are otherwise inoperative unless the vehicle, motorcycle or motor-driven cycle can be operated safely and is not a hazard in traffic.
Neon lights on the back of a vehicle are generally permitted, but they must not be visible from directly in front of the vehicle.
