Step 1: Gather the Necessary Tools
- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A new CR2032 coin battery
Step 2: Locate the Key Fob Battery Compartment
- Press the release button on the back of the key fob to detach the key.
- Locate the small screw on the back of the key fob.
Step 3: Open the Key Fob
- Use the Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screw.
- Gently pry open the two halves of the key fob.
Step 4: Replace the Battery
- Remove the old battery from the battery compartment.
- Take the new CR2032 coin battery and insert it into the compartment with the positive (+) side facing up.
