4-Pin HEI Distributor
* Terminal #1: This is the coil negative (-) terminal. It connects to the negative terminal of the ignition coil.
* Terminal #2: This is the tachometer output terminal. It connects to the tachometer in the dashboard.
* Terminal #3: This is the coil positive (+) terminal. It connects to the positive terminal of the ignition coil.
* Terminal #4: This is the ground terminal. It connects to the engine block or chassis ground.
NOTE: The coil negative (-) and positive (+) terminals are sometimes reversed on HEI distributors. If the engine does not start or runs rough, check the polarity of the coil terminals.
