1. Locate the manual lock release. In most Toyota models, the manual lock release is located on the inside of the driver's door, near the door handle.
2. Insert a thin, flat object, such as a key or a credit card, into the slot.
3. Press down on the manual lock release while pulling up on the door handle.
4. The door should now be unlocked.
Once you are out of the car, you can replace the battery. To do this, you will need to:
1. Open the hood of the car.
2. Locate the battery. In most Toyota models, the battery is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
3. Disconnect the negative terminal cable from the battery by turning the nut on the end of the cable counterclockwise.
4. Disconnect the positive terminal cable from the battery by turning the nut on the end of the cable counterclockwise.
5. Remove the old battery from the car.
6. Place the new battery in the car.
7. Reconnect the positive terminal cable to the battery by turning the nut on the end of the cable clockwise.
8. Reconnect the negative terminal cable to the battery by turning the nut on the end of the cable clockwise.
9. Close the hood of the car.
Your Toyota should now be able to start and drive normally.
