3. Secure throttle body: Use the mounting bolts removed earlier to secure the throttle body in place. Tighten the bolts evenly to create a tight seal.
4. Connect throttle linkages: Reattach the throttle linkages to the throttle body.
5. Connect fuel lines: Reconnect the fuel lines to the throttle body. Ensure proper and secure connections.
Connect Sensors and Cables:
1. Connect TPS (Throttle Position Sensor): Locate and connect the throttle position sensor (TPS) to the throttle body.
2. Connect IAC (Idle Air Control): Connect the idle air control (IAC) valve to the throttle body.
3. Connect throttle cable: Reattach the throttle cable to the throttle body.
Connect Vacuum Hoses:
Reconnected any vacuum hoses that were disconnected during carburetor removal.
Test and Adjust:
1. Reconnect the battery: Reconnect the battery to restore power to the engine.
2. Check for leaks: Start the engine and inspect for any fuel leaks around the throttle body and fuel lines.
3. Idle adjustment: Follow the specific vehicle manual to adjust the idle speed and air-fuel mixture to ensure smooth engine operation.
