How difficult is it to change the spark plugs on a 2004 Ford Freestar?

Tools required:

- Spark plug socket wrench

- Ratchet

- Spark plug gap gauge

- Wire pliers

Instructions:

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine cover.

3. Locate the spark plugs. They are located in the center of the cylinder head.

4. Use the spark plug socket wrench and ratchet to loosen the spark plugs.

5. Remove the spark plugs.

6. Check the spark plugs for wear. If the electrodes are worn or damaged, replace the spark plugs.

7. Set the gap on the new spark plugs. The gap should be .051 inches.

8. Install the new spark plugs.

9. Tighten the spark plugs until they are snug.

10. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

11. Start the engine and check for any leaks.
