To remove the crank position sensor, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Locate the crank position sensor.
3. Remove the bolt that holds the sensor in place.
4. Pull the sensor out of the engine.
5. Inspect the sensor for damage. If the sensor is damaged, replace it with a new one.
6. Reinstall the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
7. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
