1. Locate the sensor on the passenger side of the transmission. It is located directly behind the tie rod (the rod connects the steering wheel to the wheels) and near the top. Follow the wire leading from the back of the wheel back to the transmission to easily locate the sensor.
2. Look for a large nut located on the base of the sensor. This is the nut holding the sensor in place.
3. Use an 11 mm wrench to loosen the nut.
4. Remove the sensor by pulling it straight out of the transmission.
5. Installation is the reverse of the removal process. Note: Tighten the nut securely to prevent the sensor from falling out.
Rear:
1. Locate the sensor on the axle housing next to the wheel.
2. Remove the two bolts holding the sensor to the axle housing with a 15mm wrench.
3. Remove the sensor by pulling it straight out of the axle housing.
4. Installation is the reverse of the removal process. Note: Tighten the nut securely to prevent the sensor from falling out.
