Replacing a Fuse
To replace a blown fuse, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Open the fuse block cover.
3. Locate the blown fuse. The blown fuse will be melted or have a broken wire.
4. Remove the blown fuse. Use a fuse puller to remove the fuse.
5. Insert a new fuse. Make sure the new fuse is the same amperage as the blown fuse.
6. Close the fuse block cover.
Note: If you are replacing a fuse for the first time, it is a good idea to consult your vehicle owner's manual to identify the correct fuse for the electrical circuit that you are working on.
