1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, apply the parking brake, and turn off the engine. Raise the front end of the vehicle with a floor jack and support it with jack stands or ramps.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal cable from the battery.
3. Remove the serpentine belt.
4. Remove the power steering pump pulley.
5. Remove the pressure hose, high pressure hose from the power steering pump.
6. Remove the nuts and bolts that hold the power steering pump to the engine block.
7. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle.
8. Install the new power steering pump in reverse order of removal.
9. Refill the power steering fluid.
10. Connect the negative terminal cable to the battery.
11. Start the engine and check for leaks.
