- Start by lifting the battery out of its compartment from one side.
- Then, carefully remove it from the trunk.
- Be sure to dispose of the old battery properly.
Step 9: Clean the battery tray.
- Before installing the new battery, you should clean the battery tray.

- Be sure to dry the tray completely before proceeding.
Step 10: Place the new battery in the trunk.
