Ensure the vehicle is in park and the transmission is at operating temperature.
Locate the transmission fluid fill plug. Please refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for the exact location.
Remove the transmission fluid fill plug using the appropriate tool (typically a 17mm or 19mm wrench).
Insert a funnel into the transmission fluid fill hole.
Add transmission fluid to the vehicle until it begins to flow out of the overflow tube.
Reinstall the transmission fluid fill plug.
Start the vehicle and allow it to run for a few minutes.
Shift the transmission through all gears, pausing for a few seconds in each gear.
Return the transmission to the park position.
Re-check the transmission fluid level and add more fluid if necessary.
