Step 1: Remove the carburetor
1. Disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor.
2. Disconnect the throttle cable from the carburetor.
3. Remove the air cleaner cover.
4. Remove the carburetor mounting bolts and remove the carburetor from the engine.
Step 2: Disassemble the carburetor
1. Separate the carburetor body from the float bowl.
2. Remove the jets and needles from the carburetor body.
3. Remove the float and float valve from the float bowl.
Step 3: Clean the carburetor parts
1. Spray the carburetor parts with carburetor cleaner and let them sit for several minutes.
2. Use a rag to wipe away any dirt or debris from the parts.
3. Use compressed air to blow out any remaining dirt or debris from the parts.
Step 4: Reassemble the carburetor
1. Reinstall the jets and needles in the carburetor body.
2. Reinstall the float and float valve in the float bowl.
3. Reattach the float bowl to the carburetor body.
Step 5: Reinstall the carburetor
1. Reinstall the carburetor on the engine and tighten the mounting bolts.
2. Reconnect the fuel line to the carburetor.
3. Reconnect the throttle cable to the carburetor.
4. Reinstall the air cleaner cover.
Your Honda Goldwing carburetor is now clean and should be working properly.
