3. The air filter housing is typically secured by several clips or screws. Use a screwdriver or socket wrench to remove these fasteners.
4. Once the fasteners are removed, lift the cover off the air filter housing to access the air filter.
5. Remove the old air filter by carefully lifting it out of the housing. Be careful not to drop any dirt or debris into the housing.
6. Inspect the old air filter for dirt, dust, or other contaminants. If the filter is dirty, it should be replaced.
7. Install a new air filter into the housing. Make sure that the filter is properly seated before replacing the cover.
8. Replace the fasteners that hold the air filter housing in place.
9. Close the hood of your vehicle.
