Procedure:
1. Safety Precautions:
- Make sure the vehicle is parked on level ground and in a well-ventilated area.
- Engage the parking brake.
- Disconnect the battery's negative terminal to prevent accidental ignition.
2. Remove the Intake Plenum Cover:
- Open the hood and locate the intake plenum cover. It's usually a black plastic cover on top of the engine.
- Remove the bolts or screws holding the plenum cover in place. Set the cover aside.
3. Locate Fuel Injectors:
- The fuel injectors are positioned in the fuel rail, which runs along the top of the engine.
- Each injector is held in place by two bolts.
4. Disconnect Fuel Lines:
- Start by disconnecting the fuel lines attached to the fuel rail.
- There might be fuel pressure in the lines, so place a rag under the connections to catch any leaking fuel.
- Use a flat pry tool to gently pry off the fuel line connectors.
5. Remove Injector Bolts:

6. Remove Fuel Injectors:

8. Install New Injectors:
- Place the new fuel injectors into their respective ports in the fuel rail.
- Fasten them back into place using the removed bolts. Tighten the bolts securely.
9. Reconnect Fuel Lines:
- Reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel rail. Ensure that the connections are secure to avoid fuel leaks.
10. Reattach the Intake Plenum Cover:
- Reattach the intake plenum cover.
- Screw in the plenum cover bolts or screws securely.
11. Reconnect Battery:
- Reconnect the battery's negative terminal.
12. Start the Engine:
- Turn the key to start the engine. Allow the engine to run for a few minutes.
