  1. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "1" goes to spark plug #1.
  2. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "8" goes to spark plug #8.
  3. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "4" goes to spark plug #4.
  4. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "3" goes to spark plug #3.
  5. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "6" goes to spark plug #6.
  6. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "5" goes to spark plug #5.
  7. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "7" goes to spark plug #7.
  8. Spark plug wire from distributor cap terminal "2" goes to spark plug #2.

Note:

- The distributor cap is numbered counter-clockwise, starting at the #1 spark plug wire terminal.

- The engine's firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
