2. Turn the mirror adjustment knob to the fully retracted position. This will move the mirror as far back as possible.
3. Locate the three screws that hold the mirror in place. They are located around the perimeter of the mirror housing.
4. Remove the three screws using a Phillips head screwdriver. Be careful not to drop the screws.
5. Gently pull the mirror housing away from the car body. It may be necessary to use a pry bar to gently pry the housing off.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector for the heated mirror, if equipped.
7. Remove the mirror from the housing.
To reinstall the mirror:
1. Connect the electrical connector for the heated mirror, if equipped.
2. Slide the mirror into the housing.
3. Secure the mirror in place with the three screws.
4. Turn the mirror adjustment knob to the desired position.
