- Open the hood of your car.
- Locate the air filter housing. This is usually a black plastic box located on the top of the engine.
- Follow the air intake hose from the air filter housing to the throttle body.
- The IAT sensor will be located somewhere along the air intake hose. It may be a small black or gray sensor with a wire connector attached to it.
- If you cannot find the IAT sensor, you can refer to your Kia Rio's repair manual for more detailed instructions.
