- Faulty spark plugs: Worn-out or damaged spark plugs can cause misfires, which can lead to shaking and jerking.
- Clogged fuel filter: A clogged fuel filter can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine, causing it to run lean and misfire.
- Vacuum leak: A vacuum leak can also cause misfires by introducing unmetered air into the engine.
- Dirty throttle body: A dirty throttle body can cause the engine to idle rough and stall.
- MAF sensor: MAF sensor helps regulates the fuel in engine if that get to much oil deposit it could stop up MAF causing poor engine performance
- O2 Sensor: if they fail oxygen sensors won't be able to detect how much oxygen is going thru cats or before which then computer sends more or less fuel.
*Note:- The exact cause of your car's shaking, jerking, and cutting off may be different from the ones listed above.*
*If you are not comfortable diagnosing and repairing car problems yourself, I recommend taking your car to a qualified mechanic for an inspection.*
