Where do wires go on distributor cap 89 deville 4.5?

The firing order for a 1989 Deville 4.5 is 1-6-5-4-3-7-8-2. The distributor cap has eight terminals, numbered 1 through 8. The wires from the distributor should be connected to the cap terminals in the following order:

1. Terminal 1: Cylinder 1

2. Terminal 6: Cylinder 6

3. Terminal 5: Cylinder 5

4. Terminal 4: Cylinder 4

5. Terminal 3: Cylinder 3

6. Terminal 7: Cylinder 7

7. Terminal 8: Cylinder 8

8. Terminal 2: Cylinder 2

Note that the distributor cap may also have a terminal marked "Coil". This terminal is connected to the positive terminal of the ignition coil.
