1. Locate the PCV valve on the engine. It is usually a small, cylindrical-shaped valve with two ports. One port connects to the intake manifold and the other port connects to the valve cover.
2. Disconnect the PCV valve from the intake manifold and valve cover.
3. Remove the PCV valve from the engine.
4. Inspect the PCV valve for damage or wear. If the PCV valve is damaged or worn, it will need to be replaced.
5. Install the new PCV valve in the engine.
6. Connect the PCV valve to the intake manifold and valve cover.
