Instructions:
_Note: This guide is for a 4x4 Toyota pickup with a manual transmission. It is recommended that you consult a repair manual for your specific vehicle._
1. Park your truck on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Raise the front of the truck with a jack and place jack stands under the frame.
3. Remove the transmission oil pan.
4. Remove the transmission crossmember.
5. Remove the starter motor.
6. Remove the clutch slave cylinder.
7. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
8. Remove the bolts holding the transmission to the engine.
9. Pull the transmission straight back to separate it from the engine.
10. Inspect the flywheel for damage and resurface it if necessary.
11. Install the pilot bearing into the crankshaft.
12. Install the clutch disc onto the flywheel.
13. Install the pressure plate onto the flywheel.
14. Install the release bearing onto the clutch fork.
15. Position the clutch assembly into the transmission and align it with the input shaft.
16. Install the transmission bolts and tighten them to the specified torque.
17. Lower the transmission and remove the transmission jack.
18. Install the crossmember and the transmission oil pan.
19. Install the clutch slave cylinder and the starter motor.
20. Top up the clutch hydraulic fluid reservoir with new fluid.
21. Test drive the truck to ensure that the clutch is working properly.
