How do you remove the clutch cable end from a 1997 Chevy MG5 5 speed tranny?

1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.

2. Raise the hood of your car.

3. Locate the clutch cable. It is a black cable that runs from the clutch pedal to the transmission.

4. Follow the clutch cable to where it connects to the transmission.

5. There will be a small metal clip holding the clutch cable in place. Use a screwdriver to pry the clip off.

6. Once the clip is off, you can pull the clutch cable end off of the transmission.

7. That's it! You have now successfully removed the clutch cable end from your 1997 Chevy MG5 5-speed tranny.
