1. Open the hood of your 2011 Dodge Charger.
2. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is a black plastic tank with a red cap located on the driver's side of the engine bay.
3. Follow the brake lines from the reservoir down to the brake master cylinder. The brake master cylinder is a cylindrical metal component located behind the brake fluid reservoir.
4. The brake light switch is located on the brake master cylinder. It is a small, black plastic switch with two electrical connectors.
5. To remove the brake light switch, simply disconnect the two electrical connectors and unscrew the switch from the brake master cylinder.
6. Install the new brake light switch in reverse order.
