Will a 700r4 automatic 4wd transmission interchange with 4l60e?

The 700R4 and the 4L60E are both 4-speed automatic transmissions. However, they are not interchangeable. The 700R4 was produced from 1982 to 1993, while the 4L60E was produced from 1993 to 2005. The two transmissions have different bolt patterns, different internal parts, and different electrical connectors. Therefore, it is not possible to install a 700R4 transmission in place of a 4L60E transmission, or vice versa.
