1. Open the hood of your Cadillac DTS.
2. Locate the battery. It is typically located in the engine compartment, near the front of the car.
3. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the battery. The positive terminal is usually marked with a "+" sign, while the negative terminal is marked with a "-" sign.
4. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery charger to the positive (+) terminal on the battery.
5. Connect the negative (-) terminal of the battery charger to the negative (-) terminal on the battery.
6. Turn on the battery charger and set it to the appropriate charging rate. For a 12-volt battery, the charging rate should be set to 10 amps or less.
7. Allow the battery to charge for several hours, or until the battery charger indicates that the battery is fully charged.
8. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the battery charger from the battery.
9. Disconnect the positive (+) terminal of the battery charger from the battery.
10. Close the hood of your Cadillac DTS.
Your battery is now charged and ready to use.
