Where is the PCV valve on a 2005 Chevy Avalanche?

The PCV valve on a 2005 Chevy Avalanche is located on the passenger side of the engine, directly behind the throttle body. To access the PCV valve, you will need to remove the air intake hose by loosening the clamp that holds it in place and then detach the connector from the top. Once this is done, you will be able to access the PCV valve. It is typically a small, black valve with a small hose leading to it. To remove the PCV valve, simply use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the valve retainer and pull the valve out.
