- Remote starter won't respond when pressing the buttons.
- The LED light on your remote starter is dim or not lit at all.
- The remote starter may have a shorter range than usual.
- The remote starter may not work consistently, sometimes working and sometimes not.
- The car may start but then immediately die, this could indicate that the battery doesn't have enough power to keep the car running.
Testing the Battery:
- Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the battery. A fully charged battery should read around 3 volts. If your readings are significantly below 3 volts, the battery is likely dead.
- You can also try replacing the battery with a known good battery to see if that fixes the problem.
