To remove the rear speakers in a 2004 Chevy Cavalier, follow these steps:

1. Open the trunk of the car.

2. Locate the two speaker covers on the rear deck.

3. Pry up the speaker covers using a flat-head screwdriver or pry tool.

4. Once the speaker covers are removed, you will see the speakers.

5. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the four screws that hold each speaker in place.

6. Once the screws are removed, you can carefully lift the speakers out of the car.

7. To disconnect the speakers, press the release tabs on the speaker wire connectors and pull the connectors apart.

8. To install new speakers, simply reverse the removal process. Make sure to connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals correctly.
