1. Make sure that the spark plug wires are properly seated on the coil. The wires should snap into place and be held securely by a rubber boot. If the wires are not properly seated, they can easily pop off.
2. Check the condition of the spark plug wire boots. If the boots are cracked or damaged, they can allow moisture to enter the wires, which can cause them to malfunction. Replace any damaged boots.
3. Make sure that the spark plugs are properly gapped. If the spark plugs are not properly gapped, they can cause the wires to overheat and pop off.
4. Check the condition of the coil. If the coil is damaged or faulty, it can cause the spark plug wires to pop off. Replace the coil if necessary.
5. Make sure the wiring is not pinched anywhere.
6. Make sure that the spark plug wire routing is correct. The spark plug wires should be routed away from any heat sources, such as the exhaust manifold. If the wires are too close to a heat source, they can melt or become damaged.
If you have checked all of these things and the spark plug wires are still popping off, you may need to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis.
