- New alternator
- Socket set
- Wrench set
- Pliers
- Screwdriver
- Battery terminal remover
Instructions
Step 1
Disconnect the battery. Use the battery terminal remover to loosen the negative battery cable and remove it from the battery.
Step 2
Remove the serpentine belt. Use the wrench to loosen the tensioner pulley and remove the belt.
Step 3
Remove the air intake hose. Use the screwdriver to loosen the clamps and remove the hose.
Step 4
Remove the alternator bracket. Use the wrench to loosen the bolts and remove the bracket.
Step 5
Remove the alternator. Use the wrench to loosen the bolts and remove the alternator.
Step 6
Install the new alternator. Reverse the steps in order to install the new alternator.
Step 7
Reconnect the battery.
