- Replacement Spark Plug Wires
- Spark Plug Wire Remover (Optional)
- 5/8" Socket and Ratchet
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Engine:
- Turn off the engine and let it cool completely.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent accidental starting.
2. Locate the Spark Plugs:
- The spark plugs are located on the top of the valve cover, near the center of the engine.
3. Remove Spark Plug Wires:
- Use a spark plug wire remover (if available) or gently pull the wires from the spark plugs by grasping the rubber boots.
- It's best to remove one wire at a time to avoid mixing them up during installation.
4. Replace Spark Plug Wires:
- Align the new spark plug wire with the corresponding spark plug.
- Push the rubber boot firmly onto the spark plug until it clicks or snaps into place.
5. Repeat:
- Continue the process for each spark plug, removing and replacing the spark plug wire one at a time.
6. Reattach the Battery:
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
7. Double-Check Connections:
- Ensure all spark plug wires are securely attached to their respective spark plugs.
8. Start the Engine:
- Start the engine and check for any unusual sounds or vibrations.
- If everything seems normal, take the car for a test drive to ensure proper performance.
9. Clean Up:
- Wipe off any dirt or grease from the engine bay and dispose of old spark plug wires properly.

- Check the condition of the spark plugs while replacing the wires. If they appear worn out or damaged, replace them as well.
- Route the spark plug wires neatly to avoid interference with other components in the engine bay.
