How do you change the battery in a Nissan 350Z?

To change the battery in a Nissan 350Z, follow these steps:

Park the car in a safe location, put it in park and turn off the engine.

Open the hood of the car.

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. This is the black cable with a negative (-) symbol on it. Unscrew the nut or bolt that holds the cable to the battery and then remove the cable.

Disconnect the positive terminal of the battery. This is the red cable with a positive (+) symbol on it. Unscrew the nut or bolt that holds the cable to the battery and then remove the cable.

Remove the battery. Lift the battery out of the battery compartment.

Clean the battery compartment. Use a wire brush to clean the battery compartment to remove any dirt or corrosion.

Place the new battery in the battery compartment. Make sure that the positive terminal of the new battery is facing the same direction as the positive terminal on the old battery.

Reconnect the positive terminal of the battery. Screw the nut or bolt that holds the cable to the battery until it is secure.

Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Screw the nut or bolt that holds the cable to the battery until it is secure.

Close the hood of the car.

Start the car. The car should start normally.
