* 3/8-inch socket and ratchet
* 10 mm socket and ratchet
* 15 mm socket and ratchet
* 27 mm socket
* Flat-head screwdriver
* Philips-head screwdriver
* Pry bar
* New intake manifold gasket
* Gasket sealant
Instructions
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly and throttle body.
3. Remove the upper radiator hose.
4. Remove the fuel injector harness from the top of the intake manifold.
5. Disconnect all of the vacuum lines that are connected to the intake manifold.
6. Use the 15 mm socket and ratchet to remove the bolts that hold the intake manifold to the cylinder heads.
7. Gently pry the intake manifold off of the cylinder heads. Be careful not to damage the intake manifold gasket.
8. Use the flat-head screwdriver to clean the gasket surface on the cylinder heads and the intake manifold.
9. Apply a thin bead of gasket sealant to the gasket surface on the cylinder heads.
10. Place the new intake manifold gasket on the cylinder heads.
11. Lower the intake manifold onto the gasket and secure it with the bolts that you removed in step 6.
12. Reattach the fuel injector harness to the top of the intake manifold.
13. Reconnect all of the vacuum lines that are connected to the intake manifold.
14. Install the upper radiator hose.
15. Install the throttle body and air cleaner assembly.
16. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
